For most of us, a visit to the doctor's surgery conjures up an image of an austere waiting room with last year's magazines. It's enough to make you feel ill. Now imagine being welcomed by a health hostess into a fresh, modern healthcare centre, where you could not only see your GP, but talk to your pharmacist about your medication, visit a specialist consultant or just have your blood pressure checked.

This was the vision of Assura, a fast growing FTSE 250 company investing in primary care properties and community hospitals with integrated pharmacies. The development of a new brand name and identity was central to achieving this objective and Emperor was commissioned to this end. In close consultation with Assura, Emperor focused on promoting health and well being with the patient experience at the core. The new Assura brand has now been rolled out across the whole Group, including website, signage, POS and patient literature.

This medical backwater has been transformed into an exciting dynamic market. The doctor's surgery will never be the same.
