Long standing Emperor client, Robert Wiseman Dairies PLC, won one of the top awards at the Investor Relations Society Best Practice Awards dinner yesterday, Tuesday 25^th November 2008.

Robert Wiseman won the award for the Best Practice Communications through the Annual Report (printed and online) for the Small Cap and Aim category ahead of Thus plc, also an Emperor client, who were shortlisted for the same category.

The Investor Relations Society Best Practice Awards are acknowledged as the 'gold standard' of investor communications to which all companies aspire. According to the IRS, at such a difficult commercial time, there is even greater need for clarity in communications with stakeholders and the companies shortlisted for the awards are great examples of how this can be achieved.
