The Emperor board recognises that it should take account of the needs of society and the environment, and maintain ethical standards. In particular Emperor's operations can have a direct impact on the natural and built environment and the board has made environmental management an important part of the management of the company. All employees are accountable for the success of the Company’s environmental performance.

Emperor is committed to ensuring the following top level Environmental Objectives are achieved:

  • The production of waste is minimised and all such waste is managed effectively and disposed of safely
  • Emissions to the atmosphere are minimised
  • All relevant environmental legislation is complied with and contractual obligations met
  • Environmental performance is monitored and the procedures and policy are reviewed to ensure continual improvement
  • The Environmental Policy is communicated to all company personnel and made freely available to all stakeholders.
